Spread joy everywhere
We don’t need a scientific breakthrough to end loneliness. The solution is simple: bringing people together! And while that can be intimidating, we have a few tried and true solutions to make your gathering easy.
They’re called Recipes for Belonging, and have everything you need to create a space for connection, whether that’s a dance party in the dark or a dinner about death. Learn about all that–– and way more–– at the link below:

“Cannot love this enough. Give me all the stars to throw to this fantastic compendium of events, links, ideas, and general wonderful joyful spirit in every newsletter. They should hand this out to new to NYC folks along with their first MTA card. A joy in every inbox.”
Hey there. We’re Jillian & Tony.
Jillian Richardson is most known for being the founder of The Joy List, a weekly newsletter with the mission of reducing loneliness in New York City and now the world. She's been sending it out every Monday morning for three years, helping thousands of people build connection to both place and each other. In addition to her successful career in community consulting and event design, Jillian has just released her first book and #1 Amazon new release, Unlonely Planet.
Tony Bacigalupo has been working with community builders since starting Manhattan’s first coworking space in 2008. He’s helped thousands of people start and grow community spaces all over the world, and is now speaking, emceeing, writing, and facilitating about the power of self-organized communities.
Now the two of us are joining forces, shared by a common mission: to help make the world less lonely.
